Twitter has unexpectedly suspended our product's access to the company's API.
This means posting directly to Twitter from SnapStream is currently not functioning for any user. For already-posted Tweets, engagment metrics will not update inside the product and it is currently not possible to authorize new Twitter accounts in SnapStream.
At the time Twitter suspended SnapStream's access, our engineering team had been working to adopt the latest version of Twitter's API to comply with the company's publicly stated policy changes and timelines for implementation.
SnapStream is committed to supporting direct posting to Twitter from within our product. While we attempt to resolve the immediate issue through contacts at Twitter, we are also redoubling our efforts to update our product's Post to Twitter feature to meet the new API requirements on an accelerated timeline.
In the mean-time, user's can create their clips, and download from SnapStream for posting to twitter manually. This can be done several different ways.
- From the notification area after clip creation.
- Alternatively, clips that have been created can be downloaded from the moments tab.
- You can also download your created clips from the Library page, by going to My Moments, and clicking the download icon.
