How can I tag a moment in the content that I'm watching?
Tagging moments in your video can be useful when you don't necessarily want to make a whole new Clip. You can use these tags later to make it easy to jump those specific moments that matter to you.
Creating Time Coded Tags:
You can tag a specific point in the timeline of your video by watching to that point, clicking the Tag Icon pictured below, and giving that moment a name.
If you mark a clip start point and clip endpoint before clicking the tag button, you will tag that entire moment without actually creating a newly clipped file.
Once a time coded tag has been created, it will be marked in the Video's timeline with blue marks to represent where those tags are in the video.
When playing back video, you will see any timecoded tags listed under the Tags section on the info pane of the Web Player (pictured below).
Clicking any of these tags from here, will jump you to that point in the video for playback purposes.
Finding Tags Later
- Tags can be found later by clicking the Tag filter on the SnapStream Library page.
- You can also search for tags, by using the TAG: search operator (example below).
