All of my recordings are displaying a 771 - DIRECTV Signal Loss error. What's causing this issue?
This error is most commonly caused by severe weather in the area where the receiver is physically located. Severe storms can interfere with the receivers ability to receive a clear satellite signal. These errors are normally short lived. The error will automatically clear as soon as the weather moves out of the area and the receiver is able to lock on to the satellite signal once again.
For Managed TV Hosting customers, if the error persists for a prolonged period of time, then please contact Support.
