The SnapStream web player is a browser plug-in required for the playback of MPEG-2 Transport Stream recordings.
For both Windows and Mac clients, the web player installs as a browser plug-in. This allows it to be installed at the user level, which means it can be installed without admin privileges.
Prerequisites for the web player can be found here: https://support.snapstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/214548448
SnapStream's web player supports Windows XP+ or Mac OS X 10.6.3+ (Snow Leopard). For Windows, the supported browsers are Firefox 3.5+ and Internet Explorer 8+. For Mac, the supported browsers are Firefox 8+ and Safari 5.1.4+.
Please note that browsers that have stopped supporting NPAPI plugins will not work with the SnapStream Web Player.
