Creating a database backup in the Web Interface

Each SnapStream appliance uses Microsoft SQL to host its database to store your system specific settings. 

At times we may request that you create and upload a copy of your database so we can use it to investigate problems. 

Historically we've had to do this manually though SSMS, but we've now added a feature where you can do this from the web UI. 

Creating a DB backup: 
- Login to the web UI as an administrator. 
- Browse to Admin > Actions > Back Up Database
- Click "Create and Send Backup"
- Once this process has completed, you will be provided with an alphanumeric code, please provide that to us. 

Notes: You can browse off of this page, and return for the code, or simply open another tab until the backup has completed.
