Description: clipped files generated by SnapStream that have been rewrapped to MP4 may display a range of problems when imported into Vantage for transcode, such as:

• Truncated file
• Audio/video sync
• Transcode failures

Resolution: Better results can be achieved by importing clips in the H.264 Transport Stream wrapper rather than MP4.

By default, all clips are rewrapped to MP4 automatically upon completion. This option can be disabled in Admin=> Settings=> Transcoding.

If it is necessary to also generate MP4 versions of clips, this can be done as a Workflow action. See the SnapStream help file for more information on Workflows.
