Question:
What is a Moco Super-Cluster?
Answer:
A Moco Super-Cluster is a configuration scheme used to allow users to interact with multiple Moco systems using a unified Moco Interface. This is useful if you want to monitor inputs that have been setup on different Moco systems in different locations.
Benefits include
- WAN-friendly: Super Clustering was designed to work over a WAN, so the different Moco systems do not need to be on the same LAN.
- Allows users to pull data (e.g, loudness graph, media items, search results, etc.) from multiple endpoint nodes, by interacting through a single Moco Central Server's WebUI.
A Moco Super-Cluster is comprised of two different types of Moco Systems.
- Moco Central Server that has a Super Cluster license: Users can interact with this system to access data on all Endpoint nodes that are registered to it.
- Moco Endpoint Nodes: Individual Moco systems that are registered to interact with and communicate with the Moco Central server.
NOTE: A Moco Endpoint can be registered to only one Mocco Central Server at a time.
