Custom tags are a way to organize your recordings and clips or to make notes within a clip for easy reference.  They can be added during creation of a clip or while watching playback.

Tags are a great way to find content that you marked for quick access or to group items for use later.

For creation during playback:

1. View the clip
2. Add your custom tags to them
3. Once the tag has been added, it will be searchable in the system
  

For adding during clip creation:

1. Choose the input
2. Set the start/end points of the clip
3. Clip the selection
4. Add Tags in the resulting window

Using the syntax of "TAG:" and then the tag name in the search bar will populate all the clips containing that tag.  You can also select the option(s) from the drop down menu that appears.

To remove a tag, simply click the "x" next to the desired tag in the playback or clip tagging interface.
