Problem:

The Export Button is Grayed Out in Internet Explorer 11 with Volicon Observer 7.x

This problem could be caused by a Microsoft update (KB 3008923) and since been corrected by recent updates (KB 3025390) however the corrections did not fix pc’s that already have the problem update installed.

Solution:

Run through the following steps to fix this issue:

1. From the client machine, go to Control Panel
2. Click on 'Programs' and Features or 'Programs" then "Programs and Features'
3. Select 'View installed updates' from the left menu
4. Scroll down to the 'Microsoft Windows' section
5. Search for the update listed as Security update for Microsoft Windows (KB3008923) and select it.
6. Click the 'Uninstall' button
7. Restart your PC.
