How Do You Change Guide Data For A Single Channel Lineup?

Changing the Guide Data (For existing channels – this shouldn’t be necessary unless switching from SD to HD versions, or completely removing an existing channel that won't ever be used again)

  1. Go to the Admin tab (at the top right) -> Tuners (on the left under settings), select the corresponding tuner and disable it.
  2. Select Guide (left side of screen) under the same Admin screen
  3. Click the edit icon next to the television lineup that you want to change. They should be labeled according to the Box number each one is used for and the stream associated to it.
  4. Enter in your zip code, and select the options below.
    > Service Type: Analog, Cable or Satellite (Likely Cable unless using DTV, then Satellite)
    > Provider: Choose your respective provider from list
    > Tier: Premium
  5. Click the Import Channels With Guide Data button.
  6. Select the channel that you want to import guide data for, and click the Import Selected Channels button.
  7. Now enter the port number for your new channel. This should be the same as the number currently listed for the channel in the lineup you are editing. (It will likely be a number between 10001-10008, this is often labeled in the Tuner name, and the Port entry as well)
  8. Select the existing channel and then choose Delete
  9. Click the Save Custom Lineup button, and wait for the guide update to complete.

Changing the Guide Data (For newly added channels – most often used option, to replace an existing channel that you may want to use again)

  1. Go to Admin  -> Guide (on the left under settings)
  2. Click the Create New Custom Lineup button.
  3. Add a channel name with the respective port number of the channel you are replacing i.e. ESPN - 10001
(You will likely use 10001-10004, 10005-10008, etc. and this is often labeled in the Tuner name to match the Port entry from the channel you are replacing)

Click the Save Custom Lineup button, and wait for the guide update to complete.

Changing the Tuner to Reflect Updated Guide Data and New Channel (this isn't necessary if using the existing channel method)

  1. Go to Admin -> Tuners
  2. Click on the desired tuner (should be associated to the lineup you are replacing) and Disable the tuner
  3. Click the edit icon next to the tuner that you want to change.
  4. Edit the “Channel Lineup” to read the newly created lineup (or existing lineup if already created)
  5. Click Save
  6. Re-Enable the Tuner

Change the channel on the cable box manually to reflect the new channel, if not already done.
