Create and Delete RTMP Endpoints

SnapStream has the ability to ingest RTMP streams as a video source. Before you can send a RTMP stream to SnapStream, you first need to create an RTMP Endpoint in the software. The RTMP Endpoint is the final destination for your RTMP stream.

RTMP Pull is not available option at this time. Currently SnapStream only supports RTMP Push.

Adding RTMP Endpoints

  1. Click the Admin tab.
  2. Select Setting > RTMP
  3. Select Add Stream to create a new RTMP stream.
  4. Give the stream a unique name. An Access Key will automatically be generated.
  5. Click the  button to add the stream.
  6. Click the clipboard icon to copy the RTMP Endpoint's address.

You can edit the stream and modify the stream name at any time. After saving, the endpoint will reflect the new stream name.

Deleting RTMP Endpoints

  1. Click the Admin tab.
  2. Select Setting > RTMP
  3. Place a check mark on the RTMP Endpoint that you would like to remove from the system.
  4. Select the button to remove the endpoint.
