I want to use Live Transcription for my Stream and my Events, how do I go about doing this?
Answer:
Live Transcription is only available on Cloud Systems.
To enable Live Transcription, you can do the following:
When initially setting up the stream:
You can use Live Transcription when setting up your RTMP/HLS stream. Simply set Live Transcription to ON.
NOTE: Enabling Live Transcription for the stream will use transcription hours whenever the feed is live.
When editing the stream:
You can also edit your existing stream to enable Live Transcription. The interface is the same as adding a stream.
NOTE: Enabling Live Transcription for the stream will use transcription hours whenever the feed is live.
When creating an Event:
The option to add Live Transcription is also available when creating an Event.
NOTE: Event transcription settings overwrite Stream transcription settings.
Example: If your current stream has Live Transcription Enabled, and you choose to schedule an Event with Live Transcription Off, the Event setting will overwrite the stream setting until the event is over.
The same goes if the stream has Live Transcription off, and the event has Live Transcription on. The event setting will overwrite the stream setting.
Additional Notes:
There is a limited amount you can use to Live Transcript streams. This time left that is available for Live Transcription is indicated in the Transcription Available section adding or editing Streams or Events.
