When attempting to post a video to Twitter that's longer than 2 minutes and 20 seconds (140 second), you may notice that the Tweet button is greyed out in the Twitter panel. You may also notice that the clip duration turns red.
These warnings indicate that the clip selected exceeds the maximum video length limit for the user's Twitter account. Twitter imposes a 2 minute and 20 second (140 seconds) video length limitation on standard user accounts. SnapStream automatically recognizes these account limitations and adjusts the maximum video length accordingly within the software.
If you encounter these warning, then adjust the clipping start and end points to reduce the clip's overall duration so that is equal to or less than the account limitations.
Additional Notes:
Certain professional Twitter accounts are allowed to post videos up to 10 minutes in length. Please contact your Twitter account manager to inquire about the requirements for removing the 140 second video limit.
