How do I use SnapStream to post content to Facebook?
Answer:
SnapStream will allow you to post content under any Facebook Pages your Facebook Account has rights to. This is not to be confused with using your Facebook account to post to your personal Facebook page.

Add a Facebook Account
- Start playing back a recording in SnapStream, and click the Facebook icon on the right side of the page.
- If you see the screen below, use the relevant link and follow the instructions to add the Facebook Page you would like to post to. This process will open another tab, so you can come back to this tab when you are done.
Add a global Facebook account will be available to SnapStream Administrators. Adding a Facebook account at a Global level gives the option of having other SnapStream users post using the Facebook account (assuming those users have been granted permissions to do so for that Facebook account in SnapStream).

Add a person Facebook account will make it so that only your SnapStream user account will see this as an option to post to.
- Click the refresh button once you are done adding your Facebook account.
How to Post a Screenshot to Facebook
- Start playing back the content that has the content that you would like to post.
- Click the Facebook icon on the panel to the right of the player.
- Select the Facebook Page that you would like to Post with using the drop down indicated by the red box in the picture below.
- Enter any comment you would like to include in the post.
- Select Image as the type of Post you will be making to Facebook.
- Now navigate to the frame that you would like to post using the player window on the left. You can pause it where you like and use your <- and -> arrow keys on the keyboard to get the frame that you want. Then click the Retake Screenshot icon on the right panel (see below). This will sync what you have in the player window with the image that you will post on the right.
- Add in your fine details.
- Add any Geo-Locking preferences you may want.
- Meme text to appear at the top or bottom of the image
- Schedule a date and time to submit the post to Facebook if you want it to be posted at a later time. NOTE: If you set this to Post at a later time, you will click the Queue button instead of the Post button.
- Watermark: Any pre-configured watermarks can be selected for applying to the image here.
NOTE: Watermark options will have to be pre-configured by a SnapStream Administrator at your organization.
- Click the Post button.
How to Post a Video Clip to Facebook
- Start playing back the content that has the content that you would like to post.
- Mark your Clip Start point and End point as if you were normally creating a clip, and click the Facebook Icon on the right panel.
- Select the Facebook Page that you would like to Post with using the drop down box.
- Enter any comment you would like to include in the post.
- Select Video as the type of Post you will be making to Facebook.
- Add in your fine details.
- Add any Geo-Locking preferences you may want.
- Post at: Schedule a date and time to submit the post to Facebook if you want it to be posted at a later time. NOTE: If you set this to Post at a later time, you will click the Queue button instead of the Post button.
- Watermark: Select any pre-configured watermarks to apply to the clip here.
- Branding: Select any pre-configured branding to apply to the clip here.
NOTE: Watermark and Branding options will have to be pre-configured by a SnapStream Administrator at your organization.
- Click the Post button.
How to Post Video to Facebook as a Live Stream
- Start playing back the content that has the content that you would like to post.
NOTE: This can be a Recording in Progress. - Mark a Clip Start point to specify where you would like the stream to start streaming from.
- (Optional) Mark a Clip End point to specify where you would like the live stream to end.
- Click the Facebook icon on the right panel.
- Select the Facebook Page that you would like to Post with using the drop down box.
- Enter any comment you would like to include in the post.
- Select Live as the type of Post you will be making to Facebook.
- Specify whether you want the Clip Start or End points to be used for determining where the Live Stream Starts or Ends.
- Stream from start of video: Turning this on will make it so that SnapStream will ignore any Clip Start point specified and start the Live Stream from the beginning of the video.
- Stream to end of video: Turning this on will make it so that SnapStream will ignore any Clip End point you specified and continue to run the Live Stream until the recording ends.
- Click the Post button.
