Question:
I would like to restart a recording job. How can I do this?
Answer:
There may come a time where you will need to restart a recording to help resolve an issue. Restarting a recording job may help to correct a number of recording issues such as audio/video sync issues.
- Navigate to the Schedule tab.
- Locate the recording job that you would like to restart.
- If the show that you’re attempting to restart is part of a 24/7 recording job, then you will want to locate the 24/7 recording job for that channel.
- If the show that you’re attempting to restart is not part of a 24/7 recording job, then you will want to locate the recording job for that specific series.
- Place a checkmark on the recording job and click the Disable button. The recording job will then turn red to indicate that the job has been disabled.
- To re-enable the recording job, place a checkmark on the recording job and click Enable. The recording job will turn white to indicate that the job is active once again.
NOTE: After restarting the recording job it may take several seconds for the recording to show up in the Library.
