Question:
How do I enable RSS feeds in my SnapStream System?
Answer:
You can enable RSS Feeds by doing the following.
- Sign into the SnapStream Web Interface.
- Go to the Admin Tab of the Web Interface, and select Misc. on the left under Settings.
- Set Enable RSS Feeds to ON.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the Save button.
Usage
Once this option has been enabled, Clicking the RSS icon (
) on any page in the Library will expose options for the RSS feed for that page.
Clip filter
Use this option to Exclude Clips, Include Clips, or include Only Clips in the RSS feed.
Formats
Use this option to include or exclude specific formats in the RSS feed. Options are:
- Audio Only (.MP3/.WAV)
- H.264 (.MP4)
- H.264 TS
- QuickTime (H.264 + AAC)
Click the Generate Links button to produce RSS links with the specified settings. The number of files that are currently available will also be displayed.
Feeds are available for Outlook or the Standard RSS formats.
Additional Notes:
As of SnapStream Software version 23.4, you can generate RSS links off of the Tag filter options in your Library as well.
