What are Workflows and why would I use them?

Workflows provide a way to automate post-processing tasks, based on criteria like time and recording type. You would use Workflows to routinely transcode files to save storage space, or to save all of your files to a specific user folder for easier access.

You can have the Workflow begin automatically based on a specified "Trigger Condition".  You can also elect to run Workflows at a specific time or only when run manually.

The Workflows also contain security settings allowing Admin users to set permissions on what User Groups are able to run specific workflows.  The use of "EVERYONE" would allow all system users to access that specific Workflow.

Filters allow you to select a targeted group of recordings based on a variety of options within the drop down menu:

Actions allow you to select a task for the previously selected group of recordings: You can set up as many Workflows as you like to create different paths for your recordings.

Once completed, select the SAVE option and the Workflow will be available to use.

You can set up as many Workflows as you’d like to create different processing paths for your recordings.
